IRB 6650-200/2.75

The ABB IRB 6650-200 is engineered to offer high available torque and inertia capabilities. The IRB 6650 is rigid and produces powerful acceleration. The ABB IRB 6650 S4C is equipped with different arm lengths and matching handling capacities in several robot versions. The ABB IRB 6650 is reliable with high production uptime. This robot's Service Information System observes the motion and load of the machine and improves service requirements by itself. The electric motor, articulated ABB IRB 6650 are ideal for use in callous production environments.

The IRB 6650 S4C robot has upper arm extenders and different wrist modules with the highest available inertia and torque to allow optimized customization to each process. The robot can bend fully backwards, making an extended working range and allowing the robot to fit well into dense production lines.

The IRB 6650-125 option has a 3200mm reach and 125kg payload.  The IRB 6650-200 option has a 2750mm reach and 200kg payload.

IRB 6650S-90/3.9

The IRB 6650 Shelf robot offers a unique working envelope. The IRB 6650S is capable of a full vertical and horizontal stroke motion, as well as an increased forward and downward reach. This combination offers new possibilities to robot functions in numerous application areas.

The IRB 6650S-90/3.9 has a payload of 90Kg and a 3.9mm reach.

The IRB 6650S can with improved accuracy and speed handle extremely large sheets, such as complete car body sides.

The IRB 6650S is especially suited for large injection molding machines over 1,000 tons. The flexibility of the six axis robot facilitates post process applications like flaming, sprue cut - ting, tape dispensing and assembly operations.

The standard IRB 6640 robot can be mounted at floor level and the IRB 6650S be placed at about 1.5-2m above floor level. By this the standard robots perform spot welding operations at the lower part of the car body and the IRB 6650S of the upper part of the car body. Thus making efficient use of space in the robot cell.
